Bates Haunt is back for its 23nd year! Frequently rated one of the top home haunts in the nation, and the longest running projection mapping show in the world.
Bates Haunt is a house that has been taken over by the spirit of Halloween. Giant singing pumpkins sing original songs along with flying ghosts and dancing skeletons in this unique family friendly projection based haunt.
Come by, and feel free to get out of your cars to be part of the immersive show that has been featured on Fox 13, KSL, Good4Utah, and many other websites including Good Morning America.
The show is a 28 minute repeating loop so come an go as you please. It runs Monday through Saturday from Oct 17-31st (except the 18th) depending on weather, with the 31st being the big outdoor sound night. The other nights will be radio and limited outdoor sound so you can pull up in your car or watch sitting on the carpet on our sidewalk. If weather could be an issue check our Facebook page for updates. Happy haunting!
Tips for best viewing:
- Come after 8:30 when the show is less busy
- Bring comfy camp chairs and sit across the street by the fence for the best view. Please do not sit on our neighbors lawn. If you like you can sit down without a chair on the carpet on our sidewalk in front of our house for a different experience.
- Please try not to drive past the show going west to east if you can avoid it. If you do pull up in your car come from the east, and remember to turn off your lights. The audio is broadcast on 99.9 FM.
- If the weather is questionable check the Facebook page for status. The house doesn’t like the rain since the show doesn’t look as nice and wind can also make things tough.
